Meet Fillmore Cups!

Today, we named our new Tasti D-Lite mascot and are very happy to introduce the world to our very own, Fillmore Cups!
To determine what we would name him, we solicited help from our loyal customers and asked them to submit names for the mascot in our ‘Name that Mascot’ contest.
To enter the contest, fans had to ‘Like’ our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/tastidlite. We created an app on Facebook that was essentially a form for someone to fill out. We asked what they thought the mascot should be named as well as the reasoning behind it.
The contest went on for about three weeks, and we had a variety of names to choose from. We selected a panel of eight judges to make the ruling. Each judge weighed in on every name, so that we could be as accurate and fair as possible. The names were judged on a scale of 1 to 5 for originality, compatibility and how well it fit with the culture of the Tasti D-Lite brand.
At the end of the day, it was unanimous; Fillmore Cups swept the competition, and so the name of our Tasti mascot was born. Stephanie Rizzolo was the creative genius behind the name and won a $100 Tasti TreatCard!
Honorable mentions go to David Morgenstern who submitted the name Vinny Vanilla, and Griffin Tamura who submitted the name Swirly. Both David and Griffin will receive $25 Tasti TreatCards for coming in as runner-ups!
We are pretty excited to introduce Fillmore to Cup Man, our sister company Planet Smoothie’s mascot.
