2. Introductory discussion and presentation.
After we get your request for information, we’d like to schedule a telephone conversation and an online presentation to get to know you better and help you learn more about the Tasti D-Lite franchise opportunity.
3. Review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
If we’re still both interested, we’ll send you the FDD along with our franchise application and Non-Disclosure Agreement. This will give you a wealth of information about Tasti D-Lite and the franchise opportunity. When you receive your copy of the FDD, please sign the receipt and return it to your Tasti D-Lite representative as instructed.
4. Meet our people.
We’ll give you the opportunity to speak with franchisees, visit existing centers and meet the team at our worldwide support center. Plan to visit several Tasti D-Lite centers during your research. A copy of the center directory will be provided with your Franchise Qualification Kit.
5. Candidate decision and executive interview.
Once you’ve completed your evaluations and have decided to proceed, we’ll schedule an executive interview. Your interview may be conducted in person or via phone. A Tasti D-Lite executive will ask you about your goals for yourself and your Tasti D-Lite business. After the call, the executive will determine whether to send a favorable recommendation to the review committee. The Tasti D-Lite review committee makes the final determination on awarding franchises.
6. Sign the Preliminary Agreement.
Once you’re qualified, you’ll be eligible to sign our Preliminary Agreement (PA). This signifies your intent to move forward with the opportunity. You’ll send the signed PA to Tasti D-Lite headquarters along with your non-refundable deposit. The amount of the deposit varies depending on whether you’re applying for a domestic franchise, a domestic area franchise, or an international master franchise. Following this step, we’ll begin working with you to find a site for your franchise.
7. Awarding the franchise.
After a site has been secured, we can finalize the franchise agreement and transaction. We will then schedule you for training at Tasti Technology Institute. After verifying the information in your application package and receiving final approval from the review committee, you’ll receive a congratulatory letter acknowledging your approval and welcoming you to the Tasti D-Lite family.
